Burke's Canoe Trips is now the leading canoe trip operation for the lower river, renting canoes for the ten mile trip to Guerneville.
The site originally was the location of the Mirabel Dance Pavilion which was run by Bob and Mary Lou Burke. It was taken over by their daughter, Linda Burke and son, Bobby Burke. Bobby died in 2010 and Linda continues to operate the canoe trips business.
